Print Resources
Use the library card catalog to access print resources related to Gary Paulsen. These include books written by Gary Paulsen, both fiction and non-fiction, and books about Gary Paulsen. Watch the video, or read the instructions below, for help with accessing the online card catalog.
Using the Card Catalog
Step1: Open www.emsrcps.goalexandria.com/search in your web browser, or click the link above.
Step 2: Type "Gary Paulsen" into the search bar and click enter OR click the arrow in the upper left corner of the search bar and select "Author" then type "Paulsen" into the search bar and hit enter.
Step 3: Click the yellow arrow in the right corner of each search result to find out more information about each resource.
Step 4: Use the call number to locate the book in the library.(see image below)
F means the book is in the fiction section on the left side of the library. Books in the fiction section are organized by author's last name.
92 means the book is in the biography section on the right side of the library. Books in this section are organized by the subject's last name
Decimal numbers mean the book is located in the non-fiction section on the right side of the library. Books here are organized in numerical order according to the Dewey Decimal System. Use the shelf markers to help you find the number you need.
PRO means this book is located in the teacher library room and is most likely meant as a resource for teachers. Ask Mrs. Kitta if you need to get a book from this section.
