Databases

As an EMS student, you have FREE access to the databases below. InfoBits Kids and Research in Context will ask you for your student access number. You can find this number in your student planner or ask Ms. Kitta. World Book does not require a username or password if you are on an RCPS network. If you are using this resource at home, the username and password are located in your student planner or you can ask Mrs. Kitta. Click on the images below to take you to each database.

This database provides magazine, newspaper, and reference content including pictures and videos. Type "Gary Paulsen" into the search bar and click enter. You will get links for biographies, pictures, and magazine articles.

This online encyclopedia provides articles, images, and in some cases audio and video information. Select either "student" or "advanced" and then type "Gary Paulsen" into the search bar.

Research In Context combines the best of Gale's reference content with age-appropriate videos, newspapers, magazines, primary sources, and much more. Type "Gary Paulsen" into the search bar and hit enter.

Fun Fact: Each of these databases provides a citation for every reference you explore.  Scroll to the bottom whichever reference you choose and copy and paste the citation information into you works cited or bibliography page.
